Our central IT architecture team, consisting of around 15 employees, shapes the evolution of our IT landscape in close cooperation with our stakeholders. The focus is in particular on the application portfolio, which is used within the Zürcher Kantonalbank. Among other things, we are laying the foundation for the bank’s technical innovation and resilience. In our central enterprise IT architecture, you take on a decisive role. As a consultant and creative person, you actively shape the further development and strategic orientation of our IT landscape.

• Develop the strategic data and analytics architecture in line with the IT and enterprise strategy
• Define and establish guidelines and guidelines (e.g. patterns with specifications, standards, etc.) for data management, data quality, metadata management, (gen) AI and data governance.
• Checking solution designs (domain blueprints, target architectures, etc.) for compliance with the requirements of the enterprise IT architecture
• Working closely with departments, IT, data engineers, data scientists and other stakeholders to understand requirements and transform them into viable architectural concepts.
• Evaluation and selection of technologies, platforms and tools in the data and analytics environment
• Maintaining and developing the actual architecture models and data inventories as a basis for further analysis, e.g. based on data-driven architecture approaches
• Completed education or training in (economic) computer science or comparable professional experience
• Several years of experience as an architect (solution/data/enterprise) in complex IT landscapes in the context of analytical platforms, data platforms / data warehouses / data mesh, and data visualization, especially in medium-sized to large companies in the financial services sector, are imperative
• Experience with modern architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF), capability-based modeling and working in agile environments (e.g. with SCRUM, SAFe) is an advantage
• Broad expertise on banking applications, IT solutions & reference architectures
• Many years of experience in conceptual and physical data modeling for operational and analytical applications
• Knowledge of common technologies in Data Engineering e.g. Domino Data Lab, Tableau, Denodo, Azure Open AI, Python, and relational / non-relational databases
• Very good knowledge of German (min. C1)
