Operating Room Technician (ORT) and/or Instrument Nurse - Job Posting The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the cantonal territory, with a total of 1,000 beds. The following position is aimed at candidates who wish to submit a spontaneous application as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) and/or Instrument Nurse. Profile The ideal candidate for this position is a nurse with a specialization in operating room technology or a diploma in operating room technology, with the ability to instrument multiple surgical specialties. The candidate has good knowledge of the main computer systems; is fluent in Italian and a second national language. The candidate is proactive, flexible, and dynamic, with strong technical skills and good organizational abilities. They can remain calm under pressure, manage stress, adapt to both planned and emergency work, and are available to perform on-call duty. The candidate can work in a team as well as independently.
