Role overview

The Talent Acquisition (TA) team is part of the Human Resources function and is responsible for attracting and hiring the best talent in the market for EFG Bank.

We are looking for a motivated Talent Acquisition Intern to join our team for a 6‑month internship in Lugano or Geneva. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing the candidate experience, supporting Talent Acquisition in day‑to‑day activities, and contributing to reporting and process optimisation. You will also have the opportunity to support, and progressively manage, some junior recruitment mandates under guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Main responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for candidates, ensuring clear, timely and professional communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
  • Support Talent Acquisition Specialists in screening CVs and assessing candidates against role requirements.
  • Draft and post job advertisements on internal and external platforms, ensuring consistency with EFG’s employer brand.
  • Execute daily operations in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including data entry, data quality checks and status updates.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure proper documentation of each recruitment step.
  • Prepare standard correspondence and communication to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Support coordination of assessments (tests, case studies, reference checks), where applicable.
  • Support the preparation of regular recruitment reports and simple dashboards (e.g. pipeline status, time‑to‑hire, sources of hire).
  • Help monitor key TA metrics and identify basic trends or bottlenecks in the process.

Key requirements

  • Master’s degree (or currently enrolled in a Master’s program) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
  • Previous experience (internship, part time role or similar) in recruiting, HR or employer branding is a plus.
  • Experience in data management, reporting or working with HR/ATS systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
  • Good command of Italian or French is considered a strong plus, depending on the location.
  • Interest in working with HR tools and platforms (e.g. Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, career websites).
  • Good MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint, with an interest in reporting and basic analytics.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and administrative tasks.
  • Strong interest in Talent Acquisition, the banking industry and investment management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural focus on service and candidate experience.
  • Organised, structured and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proactive, curious and willing to take ownership of tasks and suggest improvements.
