Main responsibilities

- Create apparel that meets expectations for design quality, value and cost.
- Lead the design of outdoor lifestyle apparel using natural fibres across a broad range of categories, from knits to wovens.
- Develop styles that respond to relevant trends and consumer needs while staying true to the icebreaker brand.
- Ensure designs are practical, commercially viable and aligned with business needs.
- Work closely with cross functional team members in Product Development and Merchandising to deliver the right product execution for the target consumer.
- Partner with Merchandising and Marketing teams on special projects, including brand collaborations.
- Support the Design team in overseeing external resources and related administration, including the processing of invoices. How You Will Make a Difference
- In this role, you will shape icebreaker outdoor lifestyle apparel that connects creativity, natural performance and commercial relevance.
- You will bring ideas to life from early concept through to final product, working closely with Design, Merchandising and Development partners to create meaningful products for our consumer.
Key requirements
- Advanced degrees or certifications in sustainable product design or project management are advantageous.
- years of experience Product Design roles within the apparel industry.
- Experience in the fashion lifestyle or outdoor apparel sector is highly preferred.
