Full description

Do you want to help shape the digital future of Swiss logistics? With you, we shape how we consolidate, optimize and further develop a historically grown service landscape into modular, sustainable logistics services.

For one of our teams, we are looking for a dynamic and committed personality who structures complex relationships, brings different perspectives together and consistently implements changes. You combine business needs, business architecture and IT and design the further development of our services for the identification and control of shipments.

You will analyze existing solutions, question grown structures and identify technical overlaps and optimization potential. From this, you develop clearly defined, reusable services and accompany their implementation until technical acceptance.

You can do that.

  • As a Senior Business Engineer, you create transparency about professional responsibilities, dependencies and optimization possibilities and thus enable informed decisions.
  • Complex and historically grown solutions are structured into clearly defined business capabilities and are used to develop modular, reusable services.
  • Together with specialist departments, architecture teams and software development, you will develop viable solutions and bring different perspectives together to form a common goal.
  • Business rules, information objects, requirements, events and conditions are described precisely so that development teams can implement them efficiently and understandably.
  • You actively promote the professional design of our logistics services and thus support the sustainable reduction of complexity in a demanding system landscape.
  • From the analysis of the current state to the solution design to technical acceptance, you accompany changes end-to-end and ensure that the business requirements are met.
  • Thanks to your experience, you can identify opportunities and risks within complex projects at an early stage and support the organization in strategically important decisions.

You bring that with you

  • Several years of experience in business engineering, requirements engineering or business analysis in a complex and technology-oriented environment characterize your professional career.
  • You quickly analyze complex relationships and translate them into understandable decisions, technical models and implementable requirements.
  • When dealing with different stakeholders, you convince through your moderation skills, your communication strength and your ability to develop viable solutions.
  • Due to your technical understanding, you can move safely between the specialist area, architecture and software development and discuss with everyone involved.
  • Ideally, you’ll have experience modeling business skills, domains, services, or end-to-end processes.
  • Knowledge of logistics, transport, e-commerce or comparable transaction-intensive business environments will make it easier for you to get started, but they are not a prerequisite.
  • You communicate stylishly in German and have English skills that enable you to successfully collaborate in an international environment.

Questions about this listing

What salary does Die Schweizerische Post offer for this role?

The original listing does not state a salary. Our estimate for this role and sector in Bellinzona is CHF 68'000 - 103'000 gross per year — an estimate, not a figure communicated by Die Schweizerische Post. The calculator on this site converts a gross salary into your actual net take-home once cross-border tax and social contributions are applied.

Is this a full-time role, and what type of contract does Die Schweizerische Post offer?

This listing is a full-time position. The contract type shown here comes directly from the employer's original posting; always confirm exact hours, notice period and probation length with Die Schweizerische Post during the application process, since these details can vary by role even within the same contract category.

Do I need the G permit to apply for this role in Ticino as an Italian cross-border worker?

Yes. For EU/EFTA citizens the G permit no longer depends on a border zone: you need residence in an EU/EFTA state, a Swiss contract and a return home at least once a week. The 20 km band matters for taxation, not for the permit. The Swiss employer files the G-permit application at the Ticino cantonal migration office after the contract is signed — first issuance takes 2-6 weeks. The permit lasts five years with an open-ended contract or one over a year, otherwise for the length of the contract.

How do I apply for this position at Die Schweizerische Post?

Use the "Apply now" button on this page — it links directly to Die Schweizerische Post's original listing at job.post.ch, so your application goes straight to the employer's own applicant-tracking system. Frontaliere Ticino does not collect or forward applications itself.
