Dottoranda / Dottorando in Dinamica dei materiali compositi avanzati per droni
Role overview
The School of Professional Education of the Italian-speaking Switzerland (SUPSI) is seeking a PhD candidate in the area of dynamic behavior of composite materials with natural fibers for drones at the SUPSI DynaMat Laboratory (LDM-SUPSI) of the Department of Environment, Constructions and Design (DACD), located in Mendrisio.
The position is fully funded, with a contract of employment for the duration of the PhD program (3 years) and a salary conforming to the standards of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
The PhD candidate will be involved in the dynamic characterization of samples from laminated panels, thermoplastic matrices, epoxy resins, natural fibers, carbon fibers, and the development of advanced constitutive models of materials.
