The Operations Business Unit produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from sprue parts to pipette tips for Liquid Handling, to metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts as possible in-house, remaining agile, independent, and efficient. ##

• Responsibilities
• Independent setup, commissioning, and monitoring of production processes and machines
• Ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations
• Participation in cross-departmental topics and projects
• Support in defining and developing processes, specifications, and test procedures
• Independent setup and commissioning of standard production machines
• Continuous optimization of internal processes for quality improvement and efficiency enhancement, considering economic aspects
• Technical guidance and support for production workers
• Analysis and resolution of malfunctions, as well as root cause analysis
• Introduction and implementation of Lean Management methods and continuous improvement processes (KVP)
• Creation and maintenance of work instructions, process documentation, and training materials
• Support in qualifying and validating production machines and processes
• Coordination and alignment with internal interfaces (e.g., Engineering, Quality, Logistics)
• Support in internal projects
• Conducting training and onboarding for employees
• Ensuring material availability and supporting production planning
• Promoting an open error culture and active problem-solving in the team
• Supporting the digitization and automation of production processes
• Ensuring a smooth production flow in day-to-day operations ##
• Requirements ### Technical
• Requirements:
• Completed technical education (e.g., Polymechanic, Automation Engineer, or equivalent)
• Several years of experience in industrial production and machine operation
• Good knowledge in process optimization, Lean/KVP, and quality assurance
• Experience in machine commissioning and malfunction analysis
• Very good computer skills and safe handling of common IT systems
• Experience with ERP systems
• Safe handling of technical documentation ### Personal
