Canton of Zurich Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs Youth lawyer / youth lawyer 80% The five regional youth attorneys examine and assess crimes committed by young people between the ages of ten and eighteen. They conduct criminal investigations and are responsible for executing the protection measures and penalties under juvenile law. For the Jugendanwaltschaft Winterthur we are looking for 1 January 2027 or by agreement or an open-minded, flexible, analytically thinking youth lawyer 80%. These tasks are waiting for you:

• They conduct and conduct criminal investigations against juveniles, draft recruitment orders and non-execution orders and represent the indictment in juvenile court.
• They exercise individual judicial functions within the framework of criminal proceedings (issuing of criminal orders).
• In cooperation with social workers, you clarify the need for measures and execute juvenile judgments and decisions, including protective measures.
• You are willing to provide regular cooking services (including night and weekend). This is what distinguishes you:

• You have many years of experience in criminal justice as well as in-depth knowledge in the field of juvenile criminal law.

• Your strengths include your resilience and decision-making ability, your assertiveness and a human-facing species.
