- To provide underwriting guidance and support to foreign Property Casualty Underwriters in the correct interpretation & application of country/regional underwriting practices and procedures. Job Accountabilities Key Accountabilities
- Advise on wording and coverage thereby facilitating application of best practice and appropriate management of any risks associated with writing country/regional covers under foreign global programs.
- Seeks advice and agreement where appropriate from the Receive underwriter and/or Technical Underwriting on more complex and specific coverage requests received prior to service delivery.
- Take responsibility for the issuance of local policies, ensuring you correctly and closely follow instructions received from the foreign Service Specialist.
- Complete in accordance with internal and external guidelines, stipulated time frames and quality thresholds.
- Manage and resolve issues that arise during the insurance period that are related to local coverage requirements, policy issuance, premium payment, claims flow and program reporting.
- Recognize potential cross sell opportunities.
- Generate interest with intermediaries and customers, actively ensuring that interested parties are directed to the appropriate Underwriting teams.
