Ready to actively advance Hybrid Identity?
As a Cloud & Hybrid Identity Engineer, you will help shape central authentication and authorization platforms and play a defining role in the future of our hybrid identity landscape. In doing so, you will combine Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID with cloud engineering, automation and modern authentication technologies.
With you, we will continue developing our hybrid identity platforms and create the foundation for secure and modern authentication across the entire Post. You can look forward to an exciting environment in which you will work closely with experienced specialists and actively help shape technical solutions.
What you can achieve
- You will operate and further develop our hybrid identity platforms, with a focus on Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Using GitOps, Infrastructure as Code and scripting, you automate configurations, deployments and recurring processes.
- You independently analyze complex incidents and implement sustainable technical improvements.
- You contribute to the further development of Hybrid Identity, Modern Authentication and cloud-based platforms.
- You advise internal and external partners on the secure integration of their applications and services.
- From technical analysis through implementation to documentation, you take responsibility for your solutions.
- In a diverse combination of engineering, automation and operations, you contribute your own ideas and actively help shape technical solutions.
What you bring
- You have completed vocational training or further education in the field of computer science.
- You have in-depth knowledge of Active Directory and practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID, ideally complemented by relevant certifications.
- You are thoroughly familiar with hybrid identity environments and modern authentication methods.
- You already have experience with Git, Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform.
- Agile ways of working are second nature to you, and you are familiar with frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
- Knowledge of scripting, coding, Identity Federation, Security, GitHub and AI is an advantage. You enjoy analysing complex technical interrelationships and developing sustainable solutions together with the team.
- An independent, structured and reliable way of working, as well as fluent English and good German skills, round off your profile. You are also willing to provide on-call duty periodically.
Location-independent work is possible; attendance in Bern for 1 day per week is required.
