Sophisticated family medicine and a family life that remains predictable? In an interprofessional centre in the Winterthur region, you will look after your patients, with consultation hours from Monday to Friday and a team that will relieve you of the administrative burden. When moving from Germany, the employer supports you. The centre is part of a large group of outpatient medicine that operates throughout Switzerland. Family medicine, orthopaedics, physiotherapy and osteopathy work together under one roof. A total of around 40 employees provide patients with interprofessional care, including an experienced team of medical practice assistants (MPA, comparable to MFA in Germany) and physician secretaries. ECG, lung function testing, blood analyses and radiology are available in the house. Through the cooperation with a regional hospital partner, the paths to hospital specialists are short. The consultation hours take place from Monday to Friday. Winterthur is the sixth largest city in Switzerland and is located in the northeast of the canton of Zurich. The city is manageable, very green and well accessible by bike. With the S-Bahn you are in about 20 minutes in Zurich and in about 15 minutes at the airport. There are direct trains to Konstanz and Munich, and the motorway leads to Schaffhausen and Kreuzlingen-Konstanz. For families, there are city-supervised daycare centers and hoards as well as an international school.

Their tasks

• You look after your family doctor patients on your own responsibility and on a long-term basis, from prevention to accompanying chronic diseases
• They work closely with orthopaedics, physiotherapy and osteopathy in the house and use the short distances to the hospital partner
• They represent each other and in the medical team
• They actively shape the practical offer
• They regularly train internally and externally

Your Competences

• Specialist title General Internal Medicine or an equivalent title that can be recognized in Switzerland (e.g. Specialist for General Medicine or Internal Medicine from Germany)
• Enjoying holistic family care, empathy and clear communication
• Team- and solution-oriented working methods
• Experience with electronic medical history (patient record)
• German language skills at level C1
