Description Tasks - to ensure the application of the laws and regulations of the Prison Facilities and the related internal provisions so as to ensure their order, safety and proper functioning - to carry out the tasks assigned by the hierarchical superior, in compliance with the description of the function and the list of tasks of the place of service - to know the procedures, as well as the various security devices - to supervise the correct execution of the daily program, ensuring its respect by persons deprived of personal liberty, interacting to ensure a correct evolution of detention - to carry out inspections / searches / checks - actively collaborate in the ordinary management, as well as in emergencies - record significant events for the service, fill in the necessary forms and tables on the various computer supports; promptly report relevant events concerning personnel / detainees/structure/systems /equipment / vehicles /material and collaborate in their control and functionality - follow continuous training, carried out inside and outside the cantonal territory - maintain a behavior worthy of esteem and trust required by the function even outside service in order to protect the image of the prison facilities and the cantonal administration ## Requirements - Swiss citizenship - age: classes from 1978 to 2005 are allowed - - the Directorate of Prison Facilities, after the period of full-time theoretical and practical training, compatible with the needs of the service, will evaluate the recruitment with appointment also with a degree of partial employment ## General conditions - all the requirements must be fulfilled at the time of submission of the application - the candidates will be subjected to selective aptitude and psychological tests, aimed at evaluating the suitability to perform the function of Custodial Agent, consisting of: - physical tests - general culture tests (Italian, civic, history and geography) - mathematics/logic - computer skills - psychological evaluation - individual interview - the dates of the selection tests will be communicated to the candidates in possession of all the requirements at a later stage - before confirming the hiring the candidate will be subjected to a medical examination to certify the suitability for the profession - the trusted doctors of the cantonal administration may request, in particular cases, specific medical certificates - at the time of hiring there is an obligation of domicile and residence in the Canton of Ticino or in the valleys of Neighbouring Italian Grisons - attention: in the event that, at any stage of the selection process, elements incompatible with the performance of the function emerge, the candidate will be automatically excluded. Under no circumstances will any private expenses incurred be reimbursed
