Role overview
Duties - Assume the operational leadership of the Cantonal Finance Control (CCF) ensuring administrative, financial and human resource management - Assume the technical leadership of the CCF in internal and external audits and related quality control in compliance with the internal regulations of the Cantonal Administration (CA) and generally recognized auditing standards - Ensure the achievement of the annual and four-year goals established with the CCF planning - Collaborate with the Grand Council in the exercise of high supervision, carry out ad hoc mandates or timely advice on financial and procedural matters at the request of the Management and Finance Committee or other parliamentary committees - Ensure timely advice to the State Council on financial, procedural and organizational matters, and carry out ad hoc mandates at the request of the Government - Participate in and, if necessary, coordinate Working Groups within or outside the CA consistent with the role and status of the Service ## Requirements - Full academic training (bachelor's degree + master's degree or license), completion of APF Finance and Accounting Specialist degree is an asset - Several years of experience in auditing, subordinately in financial management - Several years of experience in leading groups - Excellent Italian language skills (speaking and drafting), good knowledge (written and spoken) of official languages and English - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Excellent analytical skills, synthesis and drafting - Excellent decision-making, organizational and conflict management skills - Aptitude for taking responsibility and managing complex contexts - Goal-oriented and process optimization - Flexibility and excellent ability to adapt to changing work contexts - Great ability to handle stress - Excellent conduct, no previous incompatible with the function - Preference is given: Knowledge of the processes and workflows of the Cantonal Administration - Swiss citizenship - Good knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as SAP and Teammate ## Special remarks - Considering that the Cantonal Audit Office is registered as an Audit Expert in the relevant register of the Federal Audit Oversight Authority, experience and necessary requirements may be a preference.
