Your role and responsibilities

Referring directly to Production Manager, you will be responsible for planning, management and optimization of all production activities of the Supply Department, ensuring the transformation of raw materials into high quality finished products. The position provides a working time a day, with a constant and solid presence on the field to lead the operational team, ensuring strict respect for production times and constantly promoting the culture of security, Lean Management and continuous improvement.

Specifically, you will take care of

• Production Management and Lead Time: Plan and monitor activities on a daily and monthly basis to ensure compliance with established volumes and delivery times, maintaining high quality standards.
• People Management & Leadership: Driving, motivating and increasing an operating team of about 40 employees (mostly personal shiftworkers), managing shift planning, annual performance assessment interviews and continuous development and training plans, and timely conflict prevention and management within the team to preserve a cohesive and collaborative working climate.
• Health, Safety and Environment (EHS): Promote and strictly enforce corporate safety and environmental standards.
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement: Continuously apply Lean (5S, Kaizen, TPM, waste reduction) methodologies on cycles and plants, collaborating closely with process engineering for the industrialization of new solutions and operational optimization.
• Maintenance and Logistics Operation: Coordinately coordinate with the Maintenance Manager for the planning and execution of periodic maintenance of continuous/supply process plants, and with the logistics for the supply and timely discharge of raw materials.

What are we looking for?

• University education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
• Solid and proven experience in management/supervision roles of production matured within structured industrial contexts, preferably characterized by continuous thermal processes, furnaces or chemical/material transformation.
• In-depth practical knowledge of the tools and logic of Lean Management (Kaizen, 5S, TPM, reduction of waste / waste).
• High sensitivity, rigour and firmness in the management of occupational safety and environmental protection (EHS).
• Spicy field leadership, authority, relational skills, empathy and proven ability to mediate and effective management of interpersonal conflicts.
• Strong orientation to the result, proactivity and ability to work effectively under pressure ensuring promptness in operational decisions.
• Analytical approach and oriented to practical problem solving directly on line.
• Excellent mastery of the Italian language (madrelingua or fluent) and good knowledge of the English language (speaking and written).
