Role overview
Description Duties - ensures the direction of the work of the State Workshops (OfS) (conduct, management, coordination, planning and control) according to the directives of the Office of State Motor Vehicles and Machinery (UAMS) - leads and supports the employees of the departments assigned to the work of setting up, maintenance, repair of the fleet of vehicles, machinery and equipment of the State - collaborates with the various Services of the Office in the planning of purchases of internal and external interventions and in vehicle replacements (annual budgets) and, upon decision made with the executive officer, assigns the work - collaborates in planning and developing internal training of assigned units and OfS trainees - collaborates proactively in promoting the guidelines and regulations of the Office of State Motor Vehicles and Machinery - collaborates in the management of practices related to the performance of suppliers ## Requirements - engineering degree in the field of automotive or, subordinate, Federal Vocational Certificate (FPA) or higher in the automotive field - proven experience and authorization from the Division of Vocational Education as a trainer of mechatronics apprentices may be substituted for the FPA certificate - experience in managing large fleets and/or 10 years of experience in similar activities is a plus - proven skills in leading and managing a work team - authority, spirit of initiative, predisposition to work in a team and excellent organizational skills - proven professionalism and irreproachable conduct - good spoken knowledge of a second official language - good knowledge of the cantonal territory and its institutions - with equal requirements, complementary work experience from the fields of boating and installation of electronic equipment on priority vehicles may be preferential ## Special remarks - place of service: Camorino - entry into service: to be agreed upon - only applicants with an engineering degree in the automotive field will be placed in salary class 7 ## Conditions of application - applications must be submitted online.
