# Apprentice IT Operator / AFC IT Operator

The University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Italian Switzerland (SUPSI) is offering a position of at the

## IT service , scheduled to begin on September 1, 2026. During the three years of apprenticeship, there is an annual rotation between the different SUPSI Departments: Innovative Technologies in Viganello, Environment, Construction and Design in Mendrisio, Training and Learning/High Pedagogical School in Locarno and/or at the Management in Manno. During the learning path you will be supported by our professional trainers and you will carry out activities envisaged in the training plan and the training objectives to be achieved. Rotations in the various locations will allow you to learn about different areas and contexts related to the IT sector. Furthermore, you will attend inter-company courses where you can expand your theoretical knowledge with a view to obtaining the Federal Certificate of Skills (AFC). The main duties and activities envisaged include: - implementation and commissioning of latest generation ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) equipment - configuration and management of network connections and peripheral devices - user support via dedicated desk, ticketing system and remote assistance - management and administration of IT resources - participation in innovative and technologically advanced projects
