The Institute of Pathology of Spital Thurgau AG at Cantonal Hospital Münsterlingen is a central component of medical care in the Canton of Thurgau. They take over
- Active participation and further development of the Institute of Pathology in close cooperation with the institute management
- Independent macroscopic and histopathological diagnosis
- Rapid-cutting examinations
- Professional and personnel responsibility for defined sub-areas
- Active participation and participation in interdisciplinary tumor boards and tumor centers
- Supervision and further training of assistant doctors
- Participation in quality assurance measures and in the further development of diagnostic standards and processes
- Engagement in clinical projects, possibly research and network maintenance with referrals
They bring with them
- Specialist title Pathology (FMH or equivalent recognized by MEBEKO)
- Several years of diagnostic experience in the entire spectrum of pathology
- Subspecialization in a subfield of pathology (cytology/molecular pathology) is advantageous
- Experience in a professional leadership role, ideally with first administrative responsibility
- High interest in interdisciplinary cooperation
- Commitment and pleasure in the education, training and further education of young medical researchers
- Structured, independent and quality-oriented working method
- Strong social skills, teamwork and communication skills
- Very good knowledge of German (at least B2)
