- Responsibility for the global cyber defense strategy and the continuous development of all security operations capabilities in close coordination with the CISO
- Professional and disciplinary management of the Cyber Defense Team and management of the internal and external Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Ensure effective detection, analysis and defense of cyber threats through incident response, threat hunting and security monitoring
- Responsibility for security engineering and detection engineering as well as the further development of the security tool stack (SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, cloud and identity security)
- Management of exposure management including vulnerability management, attack surface management and security posture management
- Assuming overall responsibility for critical cyber incidents and crisis situations as well as implementing lessons learned and continuous improvement measures
- Management of security service providers and technology partners as well as regular reporting of risks, incidents and maturity levels to management and executives
