• Providing the clinical service for infection prevention and control in the various areas of application of the hospital, including weekends
• Advising and supporting medical professionals in the implementation of preventive measures
• Development, implementation and monitoring of policies and strategies for the prevention of nosocomial infections
• Implementation of training and awareness programmes for staff in the field of infection control
• Regular review and evaluation of infection prevention measures based on current scientific knowledge and regulatory requirements
• Collaboration in scientific, quality assurance projects Requirements
• Completed training as a specialist in infection prevention (HFP) or completed training in nursing (HF, FH or equivalent; beneficial with IPS, OPS or anesthesia training) or comparable specialist training
• Very good IT skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to understand specialist literature in English
• Strong communication skills as well as the ability to transmit knowledge in an understandable and practice-oriented manner
