- Development and implementation of category strategies for service-related material groups (spare parts, wear parts, main inspections, services) within the traction chain (excluding traction batteries)
- Proactive shaping and further development of the material group strategy in coordination with the production sites
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement or category management
Main responsibilities
- Development and implementation of category strategies for service-related material groups (spare parts, wear parts, main inspections, services) within the traction chain (excluding traction batteries)
- Proactive shaping and further development of the material group strategy in coordination with the production sites
- Identification of cost-saving potential and implementation of continuous improvements, in particular with regard to TCO optimisations
- Conducting well-founded supply chain analyses
- Benchmarking international markets and deriving corresponding optimisation and procurement measures
- Building, maintaining and actively managing relevant supplier relationships
- Conducting complex price and contract negotiations and concluding long-term contracts
- Close collaboration with Engineering, Service Operations and other relevant stakeholders
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement or category management
- High competence in handling complex systems
- Documented experience in conducting international negotiations Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills Fluent English and German language skills
- Safe and meticulous handling of Office applications
