Role overview
The Clinic of Urology offers a wide range of diagnostics and therapy for all urological diseases.
For the treatment of prostate, kidney and bladder cancer, we are nationally recognized.
Endoscopic and laparoscopic robot-assisted procedures are a focus of our clinical work, as is the investigation and treatment of urinary incontinence in men and women.

- Would you like to actively support us during 1 to 4 months in our hospital day, participate in visits and reports, assist with operations and take on your own tasks at the emergency station?
- You will also learn the assessment and treatment of urological patients and various manual skills important for everyday life.

Main responsibilities
- Would you like to actively support us during 1 to 4 months in our hospital day, participate in visits and reports, assist with operations and take on your own tasks at the emergency station?
- You will also learn the assessment and treatment of urological patients and various manual skills important for everyday life.
- During the assignment, you will learn the urological clinical assessment, care for patients pre- and post-operatively and are divided in the ambulatory, the bed station and the operating room.
- Learning from handling and insertion of various urological catheters
- Introduction to urological ultrasound examination is possible Profile: Enrolled:r Student:in Human Medicine
- Level: In the elective year (CH) or in the practical year or student: at the time of the faculty in the 4th or 2nd clinical year
- 1 – 4 months internship period
- Language skills in German min. Level B2
