- You design, implement and operate modern Windows-based platforms and actively develop them further (focus on engineering, with active cooperation in the company)
- Together with the team, you ensure stable and secure operation throughout the entire lifecycle (run/operate & improve): monitoring/alerting, incident/problem management, patch/release management, capacity/performance and availability.
- Abgeschlossene Informatikausbildung (EFZ/HF/FH) oder vergleichbare, mehrjährige Praxiserfahrung als Windows System Engineer
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse im Microsoft-Ökosystem, z. B. Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server & Clients, MS SQL (betriebsnah), Active Directory/Entra ID, Exchange (Online/Hybrid), Teams/VoIP
Main responsibilities
- You design, implement and operate modern Windows-based platforms and actively develop them further (focus on engineering, with active cooperation in the company)
- Together with the team, you ensure stable and secure operation throughout the entire lifecycle (run/operate & improve): monitoring/alerting, incident/problem management, patch/release management, capacity/performance and availability.
- You advance standardization, automation and security of system environments (e.g. via IaC/Skripting)
- You take over engineering responsibility for lifecycle topics: design, build, patch/release management, capacity, performance and availability
- You analyze disruptions sustainably, perform root-cause analyses and establish lasting improvements (problem management)
- You work in company-wide projects as a technical lead or specialist and contribute your know-how
Key requirements
- Abgeschlossene Informatikausbildung (EFZ/HF/FH) oder vergleichbare, mehrjährige Praxiserfahrung als Windows System Engineer
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse im Microsoft-Ökosystem, z. B. Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server & Clients, MS SQL (betriebsnah), Active Directory/Entra ID, Exchange (Online/Hybrid), Teams/VoIP
- Erfahrung mit Virtualisierungstechnologien, idealerweise VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter)
- Gute Kenntnisse in Netzwerktechnologien und Security-Grundlagen (LAN/WLAN, Cisco, 802.1x, Härtung, Identity- & Access-Konzepte)
- Erfahrung mit Backup/Restore und Storage (z. B. Veeam) sowie Monitoring/Logging
- Starke Skills in Automatisierung & Skripting (PowerShell; idealerweise Git-gestützte Arbeitsweise, CI/CD-nahe Methoden von Vorteil)
- Von Vorteil bist du vertraut mit Ansible und Quellcodeverwaltung mit Git
- Strukturierte, eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise, hohe Serviceorientierung und gute Kommunikation; Anwenderkenntnisse in der Atlassian Cloud Suite
- Sehr gutes Deutsch; Französisch- und/oder Italienischkenntnisse sind von Vorteil

- You advise application managers and internal teams on infrastructure, architecture, security and operational models
- You maintain system, architecture and operational documentation, standards and runbooks and ensure their availability
- After training, you take on Pikett services on a defined basis and ensure operational safety even outside of office hours
- Scheduled maintenance windows and changes take place regularly outside office hours and on weekends (as required) Requirements
- Completed computer science training (EFZ/HF/FH) or comparable, several years of practical experience as a Windows System Engineer
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, e.g.
- Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server & Clients, MS SQL (operational), Active Directory/Entra ID, Exchange (Online/Hybrid), Teams/VoIP
- Experience with virtualization technologies, ideally VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter)
