The Credit Services team develops, tests and operates services and applications throughout the credit process. As part of the Solution Delivery Living & Financing department in the area of Development Client Solutions, we work on business-critical applications and modern service-oriented architectures for Raiffeisen Switzerland. In order to strengthen our team at the St. Gallen and/or Zurich Circle sites, we are looking for a committed, reliable and motivated personality as a software engineer (m/f/d).

What do you expect?

  • Responsibility for the further development, maintenance and reliable operation of our credit solutions and the associated microservices based on Java & Spring Boot.
  • Analysis and implementation of professional and technical requirements with a focus on robust, scalable and maintainable software solutions in close cooperation with product owners, business analysts, developers and architects.
  • Ensure high quality standards through code reviews, automated testing and the exchange of best practices within the team.
  • Gradually assume responsibility for further services based on Kotlin, Spring Boot and Kafka streams as well as their continuous development.

What do you bring?

  • Several years of experience in the development of backend applications with Java and Spring Boot.
  • In-depth knowledge in the design and implementation of microservice architectures, REST APIs and ideally event-based architectures (e.g. Kafka).

  • Secure use of CI/CD pipelines, OpenShift and container technologies to efficiently deploy and operate applications.
  • Team-oriented, responsible personality with a high level of initiative, enjoyment of knowledge exchange and very good knowledge of German.

Questions about this listing

What salary does Raiffeisen offer for this role?

The original listing does not state a salary. Our estimate for this role and sector in St. Gallen is CHF 60'000 - 102'000 gross per year — an estimate, not a figure communicated by Raiffeisen. The calculator on this site converts a gross salary into your actual net take-home once cross-border tax and social contributions are applied.

Is this a full-time role, and what type of contract does Raiffeisen offer?

This listing is a full-time position. The contract type shown here comes directly from the employer's original posting; always confirm exact hours, notice period and probation length with Raiffeisen during the application process, since these details can vary by role even within the same contract category.

Do I need a cross-border work permit for a role in St. Gallen?

EU/EFTA citizens living in an EU/EFTA state can apply for a G permit and can work anywhere in Switzerland: border zones no longer apply to them, and they must return home at least once a week. The Swiss employer files the request with Canton St. Gallen's migration office after the contract is signed. Processing times vary by canton, so confirm the specifics with St. Gallen's cantonal migration office or with HR during the application.

How do I apply for this position at Raiffeisen?

Use the "Apply now" button on this page — it links directly to Raiffeisen's original listing at raiffeisen.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com, so your application goes straight to the employer's own applicant-tracking system. Frontaliere Ticino does not collect or forward applications itself.
