Shape the future of our cooperative bank Raiffeisenbank Rapperswil-Jona is a locally anchored cooperative bank. With four locations and around 50 employees, we are close to the people in our region and support our customers in all financial matters. As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking for a personality at the General Meeting 2027 who enriches our Board of Directors with their experience in leadership, cultural and organizational development.

What do you expect?

As a member of the Board of Directors, together with the entire Board, you are responsible for

• the overhead management of the bank and effective oversight of senior management;
• the financial situation and sound development of the Bank;
• defining and developing the strategy and monitoring its implementation;
• effective risk management and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Within the Board of Directors, you are responsible for the topics of leadership and organizational development.

In this capacity

• contribute your experience in leadership, organizational development and corporate culture to the work of the Board of Directors,
• accompany development processes and assess their impact on organization, culture and employees,
• assess organizational and leadership issues from a strategic and governance perspective,
• support the management in organizational and personnel issues as a critical-constructive counterpart.

What do you bring?

• several years of management experience with comprehensive responsibility, for example in a management, in the management of an own company or in the management of a larger business unit,
• profound experience in leadership, organizational development or in the design of change processes,
• Pronounced interest in economic and financial contexts and willingness to delve deeper into banking-specific and regulatory issues,
• strategic foresight and the ability to assess complex issues holistically and interconnectedly,
• integrity, independence and a high sense of responsibility,
• the enjoyment of open dialogue and cooperation and the ability to bring together different perspectives,
• Anchored in our market area (Rapperswil-Jona, Rüti ZH, Hombrechtikon, Egg ZH, Oetwil am See, Bubikon, Dürnten), ideally with a grown network in business, society or public institutions,
• Identification with the cooperative values of Raiffeisen.

Framework conditions

• Time expenditure: around 15 – 20 days a year.
• Election by the General Assembly 2027 for the term of office 2027 to 2030. We would like to see a person who wants to engage in the long term and is available for at least two terms of office.
• The choice presupposes that the regulatory requirements for banking bodies are met, namely independence, good reputation and guarantee of sound business operations. People who are employed by another bank are therefore unfortunately not considered.
