Your tasks

• As a senior physician, you lead the ambulatory of adult psychiatry in close cooperation with the members of the team and take responsibility for the professional and organizational orientation.
• As a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will take on psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assessments, treatments and consultations of patients and their relatives.
• As part of your senior position, you supervise assistant doctors and psychologists and support them in their professional development.
• With the support of the secretariat, you take over the scheduling and participate together with your team in the consiliar and liaison service in the hospitals.
• Your varied day-to-day work includes rapports, case discussions and further training as well as active participation in internal training and further education.
• As a member of the management team at the Sargans site, you will contribute your expertise and ideas to the further development of the department and the site and actively shape its future direction. Your profile
• You are a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy and thus bring the professional basis for the demanding work in the outpatient sector.
• Leadership experience is beneficial and supports you in taking on responsibility in the interdisciplinary team and actively participating in the further development of the work area.
• You have a professional training permit from the Canton of St.Gallen or meet the requirements to obtain it before starting your job.
• Interest in an outpatient and interdisciplinary treatment as well as a consistent orientation to the needs of patients and relatives characterize your work.
• Regular professional training and treatment according to current scientific findings and guidelines are important to you and are part of your professional self-image.
