The Agrarliche Zentrum St.Gallen (LZSG) is part of the Department of Agriculture. It fulfils a versatile task in agricultural consulting as well as in education and training.
What to expect
Focus on crop production
- Supporting the specialists in plant protection, fruit and agriculture in their diverse fields of activity (consultation, field trials, monitoring)
- Collaborators in the Plant Health Service Vegetable Farming
- Supervision of the practical test plots
- Accompanying projects in the field of crop variety and plant breeding or focus on business administration
- Support the Business Administration Department in individual consulting and in courses
- Processing of business and legal issues
- Accompanying experienced consultants (development of operational concepts, financing plans, assessments regarding the sustainability of investment projects, construction consultancies, yield and market value estimates as well as lease and land law)
