The public prosecutor's office with around 250 employees consists of four regional investigative offices, a cantonal investigative office responsible for the entire cantonal territory, the youth prosecutor's office and the staff of the first prosecutor, who in addition to the overall organization also heads the cantonal investigative office. The Cantonal Investigation Office conducts criminal proceedings in complex material and formal legal environments. This applies in particular to economic, structural and serious crime.
