As the central office of the Department of Finance, the General Secretariat plays a key role in planning, coordinating and controlling tasks in the areas of finance, taxation, human resources and computer science. The HR management team looks after around 370 employees of the financial department – professionally, personally and forward-looking.

What to expect

• You assume overall responsibility for HR management in the financial department and lead two HR business partners
• You support the department head, the general secretary and the offices in strategic HR issues
• You control HR management and continuously optimize HR structures, processes and roles in the department based on the overarching objectives and foundations
• You advise and accompany leaders along the entire HR life cycle
• You are responsible for central HR topics in the Financial Department such as personnel development, recruitment and wage processes
• You actively shape the further development of cantonal personnel policy in cooperation with other departments and the Central Personnel Office
• You represent the department in HR committees and participate in overarching projects

What distinguishes you

• You have a higher education in HR, business administration or a comparable qualification
• You bring several years of experience in a comparable function including leadership experience
• You have in-depth knowledge in the development of employees and leaders
• You are an initiative, committed personality with high personal responsibility and a great commitment
• You think strategically, act solution-oriented and pragmatic
• You convince through communication strength, conflict resolution skills and assertiveness
