MAIN TASKS

In your role, you are responsible for integrating the principles of Lean Management (GPS) into the area of maintenance in order to maximize the efficiency, availability and reliability of plants and machines. At Geberit, GPS stands for the Geberit production system. It is based on the principles of Lean Management and includes, among other things, continuous improvement (CIP), standardized processes and the prevention of waste.

This includes in particular the following activities

• Implementation of lean principles (5S, CIP, etc.) in maintenance to reduce waste and increase efficiency
• Development and implementation of preventive maintenance strategies taking into account GPS standards
• Evaluation of plant data via SCADA to identify vulnerabilities and initiate the necessary improvement measures and maintenance steps
• Representation of standpoints of maintenance in production projects
• Establishment, review and implementation of maintenance checklists and plans
• Conducting root cause analyses of plant disruptions and developing sustainable solutions

PROFILE

You bring a technical professional degree (e.g. automatic technician). Further development in the technical field is advantageous. In addition, the following characteristics and abilities characterize you:

• Sound knowledge of maintenance processes, plant engineering and preventive maintenance methods
• Strengths in data analysis, problem solving and structured approach
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and production processes
• Experienced handling of MS-Office programs as well as good SAP processing knowledge
• Self-employment and a high degree of personal responsibility
• Team spirit, reliability and performance
• High commitment and willingness to make decisions
