MAIN TASKS
As an experienced firmware electronics engineer, you develop firmware for new products and functions in embedded systems. You drive the technical development and actively design the firmware of future products. You work closely with our team and other areas. The entity shall include the following activities:
- You design, implement and test firmware independently and in a team.
- You work with other departments such as app development, product management, construction and quality management.
- You design firmware and system architectures and bring your experience to technological decisions.
- You develop low-level drivers and bootloaders as well as BLE-based applications.
- In addition, you have the opportunity to assume the role of a sub-project manager in electronics.
PROFILE
You have an education in electrical engineering, computer science or technical computer science at level BSc/MSc and bring several years of experience in the development of firmware for embedded systems. In addition, the following points distinguish you:
- In-depth knowledge of embedded systems
- Team spirit, innovation and strong commitment
- Very good programming skills, especially in C and practical experience with RTOS
- Independent implementation, debugging and testing of the firmware on the target product
- Comprehensible documentation of own work to ensure further development by other team members
- Willingness to take responsibility and shape technical decisions Strong security awareness and ideally experience with cyber security aspects in the embedded environment
- Interest in continuous further education and personal development
- Experience in dealing with first- and second-stage bootloaders is advantageous
- Knowledge of Bluetooth technologies and STM32 processors
- Stylistic German in word and writing as well as good English skills
