- Static and dynamic commissioning of the vehicles and their subsystems (networks, doors, HVAC, pneumatic equipment, etc.)
- Supervision of test and type test drives with engineering, type testing or the customer
- Ensuring vehicle operation and the technically safe condition during the tests as well as rectifying vehicle malfunctions
- Carrying out hardware checks as well as downloading vehicle-specific software of all systems and supporting final test runs as well as validating the software
- Active technical support during test setup, test execution and dismantling
- Documentation and tracking of events and vehicle states throughout the entire test period
