Das Bettenmanagement fungiert als zentrale Stelle für sämtliche stationäre Patientenaufnahmen und interne Verlegungen innerhalb des Claraspitals und des USB, mit Ausnahme der Patientenaufnahmen in hochinstallierte oder spezialisierte Betten (Bsp.: INT, IMC, SU, NCW, Isolierstation).
Es agiert als Ansprechpartner für alle Departemente des USB, für alle Bettenstationen des Claraspitals sowie für extern Zuweisende.
Aufgabe des Bettenmanagements ist die Sicherstellung und Umsetzung einer patienten- sowie mitarbeiterorientierten und wirtschaftlichen Steuerung des internen Patientenflusses unter Berücksichtigung einer optimalen Bettenauslastung unter Durchführung des dafür erforderlichen Schnittstellenmanagements.
