If this is true and you bring appealing school grades from the Real or Secondary School, an apprenticeship as a logistician might be the right thing for you! As a logistics specialist EFZ, a 3-year apprenticeship awaits you. With us you can work in different storage areas and get to know the work of warehouse logistics in all facets.
- In the beginning, you will be introduced by experienced logisticians and perform various, more manually oriented activities.
- These tasks are primarily concerned with the picking and provision of smaller goods, promotional products and the like.
- Once you have completed the course for the use of electric trucks, you are allowed to carry out the first internal mechanical movements of goods
- In addition to the lessons at the vocational school in Rorschach, you will get to know the correct handling of goods receipt and delivery in practice.
- If you have successfully completed the intercompany forklift course, you can store and remove palletized goods independently
- Later you will learn to use a hall crane to store, remove or relocate long goods of all kinds professionally.
- In addition to the efficient loading of goods into/from trucks, you will get to know the most important points of a correct load securing
