In the Transport Plan team of SBB Cargo with 16 employees, you plan and coordinate the needs-based and efficient handling of freight transports and ensure a reliable transport chain. You work without shifts during office hours and with your contribution you noticeably contribute to the performance of freight transport. In a dedicated team, you develop pragmatic solutions, coordinate them with internal and external partners and drive improvements in our planning processes. • As Transport Coordinator, you take orders for freight transport, analyze the requirements and accompany the transport chain until the delivery to the dispatch.
• With your team, you coordinate the use of rolling stock and personnel, check solution options and control efficient, cost-optimized resource use.
• In close cooperation with internal and external partners, you ensure a coordinated transport chain and continuously coordinate the next steps.
• You develop pragmatic, operationally feasible solutions, make the necessary decisions and prepare the transfer to the operational services.
