The Office for Vocational Education and Training, Middle and Higher Education is a service centre in the fields of vocational training, vocational guidance and middle and higher education.

The Vocational Apprenticeships Department is responsible for the teaching supervision of all teaching conditions in the Canton of Solothurn and carries out the qualification procedures together with the chief experts.

For the vocational apprenticeships department, we are looking for an 80% professional inspector at the Solothurn location as of 01.01.2027 or by agreement. Your responsibility

Key requirements

  • They have a basic vocational training supplemented by a degree at the tertiary level (vocational examination, higher specialist examination, or higher technical school).
  • They have several years of qualified professional experience and in-depth practical experience in the training of learners.
  • They are confident of negotiation, have a pronounced service orientation and social skills and can deal with concerns of different interest groups.
