Reconciling emergency medicine and family? In an outpatient emergency practice, attached to a large hospital group in rural South Aargau, you work at your desired workload between 50 and 100%, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and without night services. A large hospital group in German-speaking Switzerland operates an ambulatory satellite site in southern Aargau. This includes a walk-in emergency practice in day-to-day operations, a family doctor's office, an ambulatory and an emergency service. There is no bed department at the site

• For inpatient treatments, the hospitals of the group are available.

The team is deliberately small: depending on the workload, one or more senior physicians work in the emergency practice. A family doctor works at the site and staffed medical practice assistants support the team. Through the connection to the hospital group, you are in direct contact with specialists. The region in the upper part of a rural Aargau valley has around 15,000 inhabitants. The Hallwilersee, hiking and velorouten up to the highest peak of the canton and an alpine panorama are nearby. A direct S-Bahn connection leads to Aarau.

Their tasks

• Triage and initial treatment of walk-in patients
• Ensuring comprehensive basic internist and emergency medical care
• Self-contained surgical wound care and small-scale surgery
• Collaboration with specialists from various disciplines within the hospital group

Your Competences

• Specialist title General Internal Medicine or an equivalent qualification recognized in Switzerland. Alternatively, surgical specialists who have experience in an internistic emergency are also suitable.
• Broad medical experience, independence, sense of responsibility and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
• German language skills at level C1
• An existing MEBEKO recognition is an advantage. In the recognition via MEBEKO, we advise you and support you financially.

Their advantages

• Scheduled working hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. without night services, expected to be one weekend of service per month on site
• Part-time work by arrangement, job sharing possible
• Annual salary depending on experience in the range of around CHF 160,000 to 200,000, additional market and functional allowances
• In addition to the statutory child allowances, a social allowance from the employer
• Small, manageable team with family doctor and MPA as well as professional support from the specialists of the hospital group
• Free internal courses and participation in external training as required
• Living in a natural, rural region with lake, hills and railway connections to Aarau
