You have acquired your specialist degree in radiology, gained initial experience at the specialist or senior level and would like to take the step into Switzerland? Are you looking for a position where you work broadly diagnostically, take responsibility and do not have to perform night services? In this role, you have independently performed CT, MRI and X-ray examinations and contribute your experience in sonography and interventional basic procedures. They take on senior medical responsibility, accompany younger colleagues and are in close contact with the clinical specialist areas. They work in an experienced, manageable medical team with a broad cadre structure and only a few assistant doctors. As a result, you will also receive professional support in your first senior position, be able to exchange views closely with experienced colleagues and at the same time gradually assume responsibility in supervision. The regionally anchored acute care hospital in Switzerland has around 130 beds. The Radiological Institute serves inpatient and outpatient patients and works closely with the specialist departments of the institution as well as external referees. The technical equipment includes two 1,5 Tesla MRI systems, two CT devices with dual energy technology and workstations for ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy and conventional radiology. AI-based applications complement the findings. During the night, the institute is supported by the teleradiology of a university center.

Their tasks

• Independent diagnosis of CT, MRI and conventional X-ray examinations
• Conduct and findings of ultrasound examinations
• Radiological care of outpatients and inpatients
• Implementation of interventional basic procedures such as CT-assisted punctures, biopsies and drainage equipment according to your experience
• Presentation and discussion of radiological findings at reports and interdisciplinary case conferences
• Supervision and professional support of assistant doctors
• Participation in internal training and professional development of the Institute

Your Competences

• Radiology, German or EU-approved
• Support for recognition in Switzerland by Medimeo
• First experience as a senior physician or senior physician or willingness to assume appropriate responsibility
• Safety in the diagnosis of CT, MRI and conventional X-ray examinations
• Experience in sonography
• Initial knowledge in interventional basic procedures such as punctures, biopsies or drainages is advantageous
• Enjoyment of clinically oriented radiology and direct exchange with the assigning specialist areas
• Interest in the further education of younger colleagues
• Independent, structured and team-oriented working method
• Very good knowledge of German in word and writing
