Role overview
Motor vehicle inspection shall be responsible for the certification of persons, road vehicles and ships for traffic and for the verification of the operational safety of road vehicles and ships in service or to be newly registered during technical inspections.
In addition, it carries out theoretical and practical driver examinations, monitors the driving suitability of the traffic participants, among other things, by assigning them to traffic medical checks and implements the administrative action law of the Federation (e.g. warnings, driver ID revocations, driving bans or traffic instruction).
