The Departmental Secretariat shall be the department and service centre of the Department of the Interior. It is divided into the departments of administration, legal service, controlling and digitization, communication, Swisslos funds and the upper offices. It supports and advises the head of the department and performs horizontal tasks for the five department offices. For the legal service we are looking for a lawyer, 60%, as of 01.01.2027 or by agreement at the Solothurn location.

Your responsibility

• It expects you a diverse legal activity in the field of social affairs of the departmental legal service.
• They conduct administrative complaints procedures (especially in the area of social assistance) and deal with supervisory complaints in the area of child and adult protection.
• The processing of claims for damages in the area of child and adult protection and the clarification of inquiries from various legal areas in the social field are also among your core tasks.
• You also participate in legislative and regulatory projects in the field of social affairs.

Your profile

• You have completed law studies and professional experience in the field of social affairs (in particular social assistance and/or child and adult protection). A lawyer's patent as well as initial experience in legislation are advantageous.
• Analytical thinking, a high degree of independence and the necessary flexibility for use in various areas are among your strengths.
• Resilience and a stylish, addressable written expression characterize you.
