The Cantonal Tax Court assesses recourses and complaints against decisions on public taxes to the Confederation, Canton and municipalities. For the tax court we are looking for on 01.01.2027 or by agreement at the location Solothurn a judge in cantonal tax court (administrative office).

Your responsibility

• They draft propositions for judgment and pass judgments within the framework of the collegiate court in all areas of competence of the tax court.
• Elections shall be made by the Cantonal Council. The Justice Commission carries out the preliminary procedure (selection and interviews).
• Judges at the tax court may not represent third parties in appeal and appeal proceedings before the tax authorities and the Cantonal Tax Office. In addition, the professional representation of third parties before the tax court is excluded.

Your profile

• They are entitled to vote in the Canton of Solothurn.
• Several years of experience in the tax sector or in tax consulting, trust or advocacy is required.
