As a historical memory of the Canton of Solothurn, the State Archives preserve the permanently archivable documents of the cantonal authorities. For the State Archives we are looking for a university intern, 60-100%, for 12 months at the Solothurn location.

Your responsibility

• Its tasks include the formation, evaluation and development of historical holdings from the 15th to 19th centuries (Department Middle Ages to Restoration).
• They participate in advising archive customers and public relations.
• You will also get an exciting insight into other archival tasks.

Your profile

• You have a completed master's degree, preferably in a historical direction. They bring an interest in administrative history and strive for a profession in the archive sector.
• They bring good knowledge in reading old German and French manuscripts.
• Her strengths include analytical thinking, an accurate and systematic way of working, independence and teamwork.
