The Prison Office shall be responsible for the administrative and practical execution of penalties and measures. The JVA Solothurn operates inpatient penalties and measures on adult men. For the prison (JVA) Solothurn, we are looking for an expert / professional social work, 60%-80%, at the Deitingen location, with immediate effect or by appointment.

Your responsibility

• They complement the JVA’s social service in terms of personnel and accompany the milieu-therapeutic residential groups of the penal and measures enforcement.
• The mostly mentally burdened persons advise you in a social work function and are available to them as well as the pedagogical care and caregivers in social administration and social law issues as contact person.
• They hold thematically different conversations with instructed persons and correspond with authorities. They also produce reports, requests, opinions and complaints.
• It expects you to be equally challenging and exciting in a highly interdisciplinary environment in the context of forensics and law.

Your profile

• You have completed training as a social worker or social pedagogue and proven experience in social work as well as in penal and/or enforcement.
• When dealing with demanding enforcement processes in a forced context, you show a risk- and resource-oriented attitude.
• They are resilient, flexible and enjoy working in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
• You bring good IT knowledge and an impeccable reputation.
