- Your tasks
As a specialist in BPS/Lean and Industrial Engineering, you will be responsible for further developing the BPS and Industrial Engineering maturity level in our plants.
- You work closely with the Value Stream teams to systematically analyze value streams and drive the continuous improvement of production and value-creation processes according to Lean principles.
- In close collaboration with the Industrial Engineers at our plants, you will develop the I.E. maturity level and local competencies. In addition, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing production data in order to sustainably increase efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The main responsibilities include:
- Implementation and further development of Lean methods (e.g., BPS, Kaizen, value stream mapping, 5S, Standard Work)
- Conducting industrial engineering analyses (time studies, layout planning, capacity and ergonomics analyses)
- Measurement, analysis and visualization of metrics for sustainable goal achievement
- Coordination and implementation of improvement projects in collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Management
- Supporting change processes and actively promoting the Lean culture at the plant
- Training and coaching of employees and managers in Lean and IE methods
- A willingness to travel of approximately 50% is required for this position.
- Your profile
Education: A completed university degree (Bachelor's or higher) in engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable degree program; alternatively, completed technical training supplemented by sound business administration knowledge. Experience & know-how: Comprehensive knowledge of BPS/Lean Management, Industrial Engineering and production systems, proficient application of methods such as process analysis, work measurement and value stream design, experienced handling of KPIs and problem-solving methods (e.g. PDCA, A3), good working knowledge of MS Office and SAP, ideally also of analysis or planning tools. Personality and way of working: Analytical, structured and solution-oriented thinking with strong execution skills, ability to communicate complex matters clearly, combined with facilitation and project management skills, communication skills for target-group-oriented and persuasive communication at all levels of the organization Languages: Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
