- Customer advice and assistance in the slaughterhouse department, taking into account individual requests and food requirements
- Art display and attractive presentation of fresh meat, meats and other butcher’s products
- Sale, portioning and packaging of meat and meat according to Swiss standards of hygiene and quality
- Guarantee of availability of the goods through careful management of the warehouse and control of deliveries
- Use of cash systems and scales in strict compliance with business guidelines
- Collaboration with respect to hygiene standards, safety at work and cleaning at work
- Support for marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions in the sales area
- Autonomous organization of daily activities in the sales department, including reorders and inventory
- Responsibility for the presentation and care of the sales area, as well as for its fleet vehicles for deliveries and supplies
Profile required
- Basic vocational training completed in the field of slaughterhouses, retail trade or equivalent qualification
- At least several years of working experience in selling butcher shop in Switzerland with a solid knowledge of Swiss standards of quality and hygiene
- Excellent German mastery at native level to ensure professional advice and communication with customers
- Autonomy and reliability in work, as well as a strong customer orientation and talent in sales
- Driving licence and vehicle to carry out autonomous deliveries of goods and transport tasks
- Good mastery of cash systems and scales, ideally experience with industry-specific software
- High resistance to stress and flexibility, particularly with regard to working hours in the retail sector
- Ability to work on team, well-kept appearance and hygienic behavior
- Additional benefit: residence at an acceptable distance from the workplace to ensure optimum operational availability
