Role overview

TSMG is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Lead (AVOS) / Operations Lead autonomous vehicles for operational activities on the territory in Zurich.

We are looking for an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Lead (AVOS) who will be responsible for the daily operation of autonomous vehicle fleets (AV) and robot taxi fleets for test programs, commercial autonomous ride-hailing services and new city launches in Europe.

As an operational leader in the depot, you will coordinate Safety Operators, Depot Specialists, Senior Technicians and SDS Specialists to ensure vehicles are safe, operational and deployment-ready.

  • Lead the daily operation of autonomous vehicle and robot taxi fleets over one or more depot locations.
  • Ensure vehicles are operational-ready for tests, commercial deployment and autonomous ride-hailing services.
  • Monitor Fleet Utilization, Vehicle Availability, Scheduling and Operational Readiness.
  • Coordinate daily vehicle dispatch and return processes to maximize fleet efficiency.
  • Minimize vehicle downtime through effective operational planning and coordination.
  • Oversee all activities in the robot taxi depot and ensure safe, efficient and organized processes.
  • Coordinate the work of Depot Specialists, Safety Operators, Senior Technicians and SDS Specialists.
  • Ensure vehicles meet standards for cleanliness, charging, inspection and maintenance before deployment.
  • Support depot setup and operational readiness for new city launches and fleet expansions.

Company and context

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Experience in KPI tracking and operational performance management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Experience with autonomous vehicles, robot taxi fleets, ADAS programs or automotive testing.
  • Experience with electric vehicle fleet operations.
  • Experience with launching new operational sites or depots.
  • Knowledge of fleet management systems and operational reporting tools.
