- 10+ years of hands-on experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management within a complex industrial or hardware environment (robotics, automotive, aerospace, electronics, or industrial automation)
- Proven track record of managing procurement activities throughout the entire product lifecycle—from early-stage NPI prototypes to serial production ramp-up
Key requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management within a complex industrial or hardware environment (robotics, automotive, aerospace, electronics, or industrial automation)
- Proven track record of managing procurement activities throughout the entire product lifecycle—from early-stage NPI prototypes to serial production ramp-up
- Deep expertise in sourcing custom mechanical, electrical, and complex electromechanical components
- Strong mastery of strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier agreements, and long-term commercial terms
Company and context
- Demonstrated ability to build supplier networks and procurement processes from the ground up in fast-growing or dynamic hardware organizations
- Experience working effectively with international supplier bases, particularly across Europe and Asia
- Collaborative approach with strong experience influencing and partnering with cross-functional Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams Business fluency in English Bonus Points
- Deep domain knowledge in sourcing specialized robotic hardware such as electronics, PCBAs, high-density batteries, motors, or drives
- Fluency in German for local supplier communication
- Background in low-to-medium volume, high-complexity hardware manufacturing environments
