Main responsibilities
- Commitment to the prevention and detection of nosocomial infections in the children's hospital
- Sustainable qualification and professional support of employees to consistently implement the standards of infection prevention in everyday hospital life
- Precision and technical support for the collection and analysis of epidemiological data in the framework of surveillance programmes
- Actively contribute by questioning existing processes and developing ideas for continuous improvement
- Participation in local and national infection prevention programmes and projects
- Cooperation in networks and exchange with relevant internal and external expert bodies
- Development, implementation and evaluation of internal hospital prevention strategies
Key requirements
- Completed training for Dipl.
- Nurse HF with ideally supplementary training as an expert for infection prevention or willingness to complete it
- Experience in the acute hospital and in the Swiss healthcare system, ideally with the care of paediatric patients
- Communicative as well as team capable and structured person with a constructive attitude and openness to new things
- High level of expertise, acting and thinking on your own initiative, actively contributing and working independently
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office) as well as very good oral and written German skills (minimum level C1), English skills are an advantage We offer: Received
