Role overview
The gynaecology department of the Jura Hospital carries out hospital and outpatient activities at the Delémont site as a priority (+ from 3,300 visits per year / 450 births / 750 hospitalizations / 500 gynaecological operations).
The service offers a wide range of general and specialized consultations (senology, urinary incontinence, colposcopy, adolescent counselling, infertility and menopause) as well as emergency management.
In order to strengthen the current team, we are looking for an entry into office on 1 January 2027 or to agree on one:
- The gynaecology department of the Jura Hospital carries out hospital and outpatient activities at the Delémont site as a priority (+ from 3,300 visits per year / 450 births / 750 hospitalizations / 500 gynaecological operations).
- The service offers a wide range of general and specialized consultations (senology, urinary incontinence, colposcopy, adolescent counselling, infertility and menopause) as well as emergency management.
- You ensure the overall care of patients and interact with specialists in the sector.
- You supervise and train the assistant (internal) doctors responsible for the care of patients and proactively organize their work and the operation of the service on a daily basis.
- · You have a Swiss Federal Diploma in Medicine or a title recognized by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions (MEBEKO)
- · You are ideally benefiting from a specialization in gynaecology / FMH title or equivalence for courses acquired abroad; or about to acquire it.
Main responsibilities
- You ensure the overall care of patients and interact with specialists in the sector.
- You supervise and train the assistant (internal) doctors responsible for the care of patients and proactively organize their work and the operation of the service on a daily basis.
- You are involved in pre- and post-graduate training in the service, as well as in continuous improvement of the working environment.
Key requirements
- · You have a Swiss Federal Diploma in Medicine or a title recognized by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions (MEBEKO)
- · You are ideally benefiting from a specialization in gynaecology / FMH title or equivalence for courses acquired abroad; or about to acquire it.
- · You have excellent clinical knowledge in gynaecology and obstetrics.
- · Knowledge of French (level B2/C1) other foreign language welcome.
- · Autonomy, rigor and excellent relational sense are expected.
