Conference & Events Sales Manager 100% (f/m/i)
Its extensive main tasks include
- Processing customer inquiries, creating offers and negotiating contracts – be it a big wedding, a 2-person meeting, a buy-out or a pure group room booking
- Evaluation of RFPs in collaboration with Revenue Management
- Customer advice, creative offer / concept creation (incl. implementation of rehearsal dinners, location advice & visits)
- Working closely with the proactive MICE Sales and Sales Team to increase lead conversion
- Creation of detailed BEOs
- Conducting BEO meetings and ensuring optimal cross-divisional communication for a smooth event flow
- Ensuring excellent customer service before, during and after the events
- Ensure smooth running of events in cooperation with the Operations and F&B teams and all operational departments involved
- Co-responsibility for the further development of subordinate employees as well as active participation in internal departmental training
They have completed vocational training as well as experience in the upscale and international hotel industry and have already gained in-depth F&B knowledge. We require very good know-how with MS office and hotel reservation programs, communication and negotiation skills as well as solution-oriented behavior, an independent working method and detail. Responsibility and organizational awareness as well as a safe, friendly attitude, pleasure in dealing with people and very good language skills in German and English distinguish you. If you have already worked with OPERA, this is a big plus. They think and act networked, are customer-oriented and recognize priorities by themselves.
