With around 350 employees, the bathing and ice facilities division is responsible for the operation of around 21 indoor and outdoor pools as well as two ice plants with over 2 million guests per year.

Main responsibilities
- They further develop the bathing and ice facilities and initiate and accompany structural measures from repair to new construction.
- In studies, competitions and construction projects, they represent the utility needs of the Sports Office and the urban planning requirements and take over the operational project management.
- They develop basic principles such as operating concepts, spatial programmes and project specifications and write reports and expertise.
- They monitor the structural and technical condition as well as the attractiveness of the plants and propose optimization measures if necessary.
- They advise the departmental and departmental management strategically, participate in political affairs and initiatives and represent the Sports Office in urban and suburban committees. Profile
